The Uganda Police Force has announced the burial programme for Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Namande Henrietta Mwese, a staff officer in the Press and Public Relations Department.
According to a tentative programme issued by SSP Nandawula Diana, Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Uganda Police Force, mourners will gather at Namande’s home in Mutundwe-Kisigula for funeral services ahead of her burial in Nakaseke District.
The programme began on Saturday, September 12, 2026, with Mass at 5:00pm followed by a vigil at her residence in Mutundwe-Kisigula.
On Sunday, September 13, the body was scheduled to arrive from the funeral home at her residence, followed by Mass at 5:00pm and a vigil.
A further Mass and vigil are scheduled for Monday, September 14, at 5:00pm at the deceased’s home in Mutundwe.
The body will leave for burial on Tuesday, September 15, at 8:00am for Kiteredde-Kirema Village, Kirema Parish, Semuto Sub-county in Nakaseke District.
The burial programme is scheduled to begin at 12:00pm and continue until late.
ASP Namande served as a staff officer in the Uganda Police Force’s Press and Public Relations Department. The funeral arrangements were communicated by SSP Nandawula Diana, Deputy PRO of the Uganda Police Force.
