Court drama as Bryan White’s mom clashes with victim’s dad

Tensions flared outside the Makindye Chief Magistrates’ Court in Kampala on Thursday during proceedings in the high-profile case against socialite Bryan White, real name Brian Kirumira, who faces multiple charges, including human sacrifice and manslaughter.

The incident occurred as Bryan White’s mother reportedly insulted or mocked the father of the late Carol Nalubwama, the 25-year-old woman who died in late October 2025 from severe burn injuries at Bryan White’s residence.

The confrontation provoked an angry reaction, with the father attempting to confront or attack her. Court security quickly intervened, removing the parties involved to restore order.

Bryan White and others are accused of involvement in the death of Nalubwama, with the prosecution alleging ritual elements, though investigations are ongoing. The case has attracted widespread media attention due to its shocking nature and the prominence of those involved.

On December 18, the court was set to review investigation updates. Following the chaotic scenes outside, the proceedings were adjourned, with the next hearing scheduled for February 2026.

Observers noted that the incident underscores the high emotions surrounding the case, which has captivated the nation and sparked heated public debate.
