Bushenyi — Arnold Akanyijuka Kato, a pupil of Parental Care Primary School, has been celebrated as the top Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) candidate across the five districts of Greater Bushenyi after scoring the best possible Aggregate 4 score, according to social media reports from major Ugandan news outlets.

Akanyijuka’s exceptional performance in the national exams has drawn praise from teachers, parents and local education stakeholders, who highlighted his academic excellence and disciplined approach to studies.

In interviews following the release of the results, Akanyijuka credited his success to God, hard work, dedication, and the guidance and support of his teachers and parents, a sentiment echoed in posts by Daily Monitor and other news platforms covering the story.

The top candidate also shared his aspirations for the future, revealing that he dreams of becoming a doctor — a goal that has been celebrated by his school community and supporters.

Akanyijuka’s standout achievement not only places him among the elite performers in the 2025 PLE cycle but also underscores the importance of sustained effort, parental support, and focused teaching in helping learners excel academically.

With his eye on a medical career, Akanyijuka is expected to attract interest from secondary schools where he can pursue advanced studies that will set him on the path toward his goal.
