Ugandan content creator Resty (Mrs. Cyrahz), popular on TikTok, has opened up about her love story with her husband Philemon, revealing how their relationship began and grew into a family.

The story was featured on Spark TV’s relationship programme The Vow, where the couple shared details of how they met and built their marriage over the years.

According to Resty, the couple first met in August 2017, when she was turning 18. She said what attracted her to Philemon was not wealth or social status, but his kindness, strong Christian faith and calm personality.

“He became more than a partner from the beginning — he was my best friend,” she said in the show’s feature.

Their relationship later grew into a family, and the couple now have two sons together. As part of traditional Ugandan marriage customs, Philemon formally visited Resty’s parents for an introduction ceremony, before the two later formalised their union in marriage.

Spark TV’s The Vow highlights real-life love stories of couples and their journeys through courtship, family life and marriage. The programme has become popular among viewers for sharing personal experiences of relationships and cultural traditions surrounding marriage in Uganda.

Resty, widely known online as Mrs. Cyrahz, has built a following on TikTok where she shares lifestyle and family content with her audience.
