Cavendish University Uganda, on Friday, April 10, 2026, crowned its new Mr. & Miss Cavendish during a colourful campus event that celebrated talent, confidence, and academic excellence under the theme “Ambassadors of Intellect and Impact.”

Mr Cavendish 2026 is Emmanuel Angelo, while the new Miss Cavendish 2026 is Luyiga Victoria, aka Vicky.

Madut Breezy (Breezy De Nation / Madut Sultan Manyuat) was the second runner-up in the Mr category.

They replace 2025 winners Natnael Mussie (Mr.) and Lokondo Rebecca (Miss).

According to an official announcement shared on the university’s verified social media platforms, the annual competition brought together students showcasing elegance, communication skills, creativity, and leadership potential, all reflecting the institution’s emphasis on holistic education.

The event, described by organisers as “a night to remember,” featured runway presentations, talent showcases, and interactive segments designed to highlight students’ intellectual and social capabilities beyond academics.

University representatives noted that the competition aligns with Cavendish University Uganda’s broader student engagement programmes aimed at nurturing leadership, confidence, and innovation among young people.

The winners were applauded for embodying the values of the institution and are expected to serve as student ambassadors in upcoming university activities and outreach programmes.

The crowning moment drew enthusiastic applause from students and staff, marking the culmination of weeks of preparation and auditions across different faculties.

In its online post, the university congratulated the winners, stating that their journey as ambassadors of intellect and impact “has just begun,” as they take on roles representing the university in both campus and external engagements.

The event continues a tradition of student-led pageantry at Cavendish University Uganda, which has grown into one of the institution’s most anticipated annual cultural highlights.
