KAMPALA, Uganda — Ugandan sports journalist and presenter Andrew Kabuura of NBS Sport has gained international visibility after appearing on SuperSport studios to contribute to coverage of the UEFA Champions League match between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

According to social media posts and broadcast-related updates circulating on X (formerly Twitter), Kabuura was part of the SuperSport production team during the high-profile European fixture, which attracted global viewership. The appearance has sparked widespread pride among Ugandan sports fans, many of whom praised his growing international profile.

Sports journalist Douglas Lwanga wrote on X: “Big love to Andrew Kabura, shining bright on @SuperSportTV during the PSG vs Bayern UEFA clash! Proud to see one of our own @NBSportUg doing big things on the international stage. Well done, Andy!”

Kabuura, who has built a reputation as one of Uganda’s leading football presenters, is also reported in online discussions to be scheduled for upcoming UEFA Champions League coverage, including the Atletico Madrid vs Arsenal fixture, though this has not been formally confirmed by SuperSport.

His involvement comes as Ugandan sports media personalities increasingly gain exposure on continental platforms, reflecting the growing integration of East African talent into international sports broadcasting networks.

While neither SuperSport nor NBS Sport has issued an official press statement confirming the full scope of his assignment, the online reaction highlights strong public interest and national pride in his international appearance.
