Kigali, Rwanda — Ugandan media personality and award-winning TV presenter Sheilah C Gashumba has officially kicked off her much-anticipated Kigali DJ Tour, bringing star power, music and high-energy nightlife to Rwanda’s capital during the festive season.
Gashumba, popularly known in the music scene as Lil Stunner, arrived in Kigali ahead of Christmas and wasted no time setting the tone for what promises to be a vibrant tour.
“Arrived safely in Kigali, and I can’t wait to groove with y’all. No days off. Work mode activated,” she shared on social media, signalling her readiness to deliver nonstop entertainment.
Christmas night takeovers in Kigali
The tour opened on December 25 with two major appearances at some of Kigali’s most popular nightlife spots. The first stop saw Sheilah Gashumba live at Pili Pili Lounge, where she headlined an energetic night alongside supporting DJs Marnaud, Inno, and Moses. The venue, located on KG 303 Street, was packed with revellers drawn by the promise of music, BBQ, drinks and festive vibes.
Later that night, Gashumba switched gears for “À Noël la Noche” at La Noche, performing under her DJ alias Lil Stunner. She was supported by DJ Khizzbeats, DJ Annab and DJ Thunder, with doors opening at 9:00 pm. The event, which enforced a strict 21-and-over door policy and reservation-only tables, drew a stylish crowd eager to celebrate Christmas night in signature Kigali fashion.
Regional influence and growing brand
Beyond entertainment, Gashumba’s Kigali tour underscores her expanding footprint as a digital influencer, international music promoter and luxury party host, with active media roles in Uganda and South Africa.
Her presence in Rwanda has also attracted regional media attention, with Brian Muhumuza Bishanga of BM Publications on the ground covering the tour.
