Pastor James Victor Lubwama has gifted fellow cleric Pastor Robert Kayanja a Range Rover, continuing a series of vehicle gifts between the two pastors.
Lubwama and his wife previously presented Kayanja with a Mercedes-Benz Maybach S 560 at Rubaga Miracle Centre in Kampala last year.
The latest gift has attracted attention on social media, where followers have celebrated the relationship between the two pastors while others have made light-hearted comments about the value of the gifts.
Kayanja, the senior pastor of Rubaga Miracle Centre, had reportedly admired a similar Range Rover while abroad before Lubwama decided to purchase one for him.
Lubwama also reportedly referenced President Yoweri Museveni’s use of a similar vehicle when explaining his choice of the gift.
The presentation has been viewed by supporters as another gesture in the relationship between Lubwama and Kayanja, with some describing the younger pastor as honouring Kayanja as a spiritual father.
