Mungu Feni Foundation’s latest double win at the West Nile Quality Brand Awards adds to a remarkable track record of recognition for community service and social impact.
At the 2025 awards, the foundation received the Quality Excellence Award – Platinum, alongside honours as Best Community Development NGO in West Nile and Best Local NGO in West Nile.
The organisation has maintained consistent excellence over the years. In 2023, it was named Best NGO of the Year in West Nile, before clinching two awards in 2024, Best Social Impact NGO of the Year and Best Community Development NGO at the West Nile Quality Brand Awards.
In addition to regional recognition, the foundation also won the Best Community Transformation Organisation in East Africa at the East Africa Brand Quality Awards, underscoring its contribution to uplifting communities across the region.
Mr Feni Benard said, “It is a very good achievement for us to receive such awards from the communities. We really appreciate it. This is all about trust team teamwork, coming together to support youths and the vulnerable in the communities. Even those who are jobless come out together to create jobs for themselves.
He added, “Like Mungufeni Foundation, we have 5 to 6 projects we are doing for communities, targeting over 300 youths, orphans and the underprivileged so that they can better their lives. “
