Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja represented President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at the wedding reception of Uganda’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Zaake Kibedi, and Namutebi Aamirah Prossy.

The event took place at Speke Resort, Kampala, and was attended by prominent political and diplomatic figures.

During the reception, President Museveni, through Nabbanja, commended Ambassador Kibedi for his efforts in promoting investment opportunities in Uganda, highlighting the importance of diplomacy in attracting development and strengthening international partnerships.

The President also extended his best wishes to the newlyweds for a happy and prosperous marriage.

Other dignitaries present included former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi, Speaker of Parliament Ruhakana Rugunda, and other high-profile personalities such as Rukia Nakadama and King Nadiope IV, reflecting the national significance of the event.

The wedding reception celebrated not only the union of the couple but also the Ambassador’s contributions to Uganda’s international relations, symbolising a blend of personal joy and professional recognition.
