Bunyangabu — Ms Joan Nkwanzi, daughter of Hon. Adolf Mwesige, Clerk to Parliament of Uganda, has been officially given away to her fiancé, Mr Caleb Kwaku from Ghana, in a vibrant ceremony held at the family home in Kibito, Bunyangabu District.

The wedding, described as colourful and heartfelt, was attended by family, friends, and prominent figures, including Thomas Tayebwa, Member of Parliament, who congratulated the couple on social media.

“The ceremony was a testimony to the good nurturing of children by Hon. & Mrs Mwesige. I congratulate the couple and wish them a successful and blessed marriage,” Tayebwa wrote.

The event highlighted the union of two families across borders, celebrating love, culture, and community. Hon. Mwesige and his wife were praised for their role in raising children who exemplify values of respect, commitment, and family solidarity.

The marriage of Joan Nkwanzi and Caleb Kwaku marks a joyful chapter for the Mwesige family and is expected to strengthen ties between Uganda and Ghana through familial bonds.
