Wives try to cut off husband’s penis

Buyende — A domestic dispute over alleged infidelity turned violent on Monday in Buyende District, leaving 51-year-old Robert Bebwa, Vice Chairperson LC I of Butayunjwa B Village, nursing serious injuries.

According to Busoga North Regional Police spokesperson SSP Samson Lubega, Bebwa was reportedly attacked by his two wives, Naluvuma Esther, 44, and Nakayunja Norah, 53, in a premeditated assault. The attack allegedly targeted the victim’s private parts, causing severe wounds.

They accused him of infidelity. During the incident, the suspects used a sharp object, causing severe wounds to his private parts.

“The suspects have been arrested, and police are investigating a case of unlawful wounding,” SSP Lubega said, adding that Bebwa was rushed to Kidera Health Centre IV by residents for medical treatment.

SSP Lubega condemned acts of domestic violence and urged the public to resolve disputes through peaceful and lawful channels. “Violence, particularly within the home, is unacceptable,” he stated.

Police continue to investigate the incident as the community grapples with the shocking attack stemming from family tensions.
