The Uganda Police Force, in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development – Uganda, conducted an operation on 05.03.2026 targeting companies suspected of engaging in labour externalisation without valid licences.

During the operation, five suspects were arrested from the following firms: Hussinah Travels Ltd, Hasaya Recruitment Company Ltd and Big Dreams Visa Experts Tours and Travels Ltd.

The suspects are currently in police custody pending prosecution.

SP Kawala Racheal, Public Relations Officer, Kampala Metropolitan Police, said investigations into the matter are ongoing, and similar enforcement operations will continue to ensure compliance with labour laws and licensing regulations.
