Pallisa — A 31-year-old woman, Faith Amoding, has died at the church of self-proclaimed Bishop and healing prophet Ibisaleri Idakun in Nyakoi Village, Pallisa District.

Amoding, a resident of Seeta Lumuli and former student of Kireka High School, had been diagnosed with pneumonia in October at Mukono General Hospital following a prolonged illness that caused severe shortness of breath.

Despite medical advice, her mother, Samali Akurut, placed her in the care of Bishop Ibisaleri Idakun of the Pentecostal Revival Ministries (PRM) in Nyakoi Village, hoping for spiritual healing. Amoding remained at the church throughout October and November, receiving spiritual support while her medical condition worsened.

She passed away on the evening of Thursday, 27th November 2025. Her funeral was held on Monday, 1st December 2025, at her ancestral home in Odwarat Village, Olok Parish, Pallisa County, Pallisa District.
