Ugandan media personality and content creator Lucky Mbabazi has won the prestigious “Voice of Influence Africa Award” at the Thamani Africa Awards 2026, earning continental recognition for her influence and inspirational leadership.

Mbabazi shared the news with her followers on social media, describing the achievement as one of the most humbling moments of her career.

“One of the most recent humbling things to happen to me is winning the Thamani Voice of Influence Award Africa,” she wrote.

“It has always been my dream to be recognised beyond my country, Uganda. A big thank you to everyone who voted for me. Asante sana,” she added.

According to the certificate issued by the organisers, Lucky Mbabazi was recognised as the winner of the “Voice of Influence Africa Award” in recognition of her “exceptional influence and inspirational leadership.”

The award certificate was issued on May 9, 2026, and signed by Esther Kiai, the Chairperson of the Thamani Africa Awards.

Lucky Mbabazi is one of Uganda’s most recognisable radio and television personalities and has built a large following through broadcasting, digital content creation and lifestyle influence. Over the years, she has become a prominent figure in Uganda’s entertainment and media industry, known for her vibrant personality and engagement with audiences across social media platforms.

Her latest recognition adds to a growing list of Ugandan creatives and media personalities receiving continental recognition for their work in media, entertainment and digital influence.
