Pictures of Ugandan social critic Stella Nyanzi getting a muscle pull treatment have excited netizens on social media.
One of the pictures showing a doctor’s hand up Nyanzi’s thighs and inside her lifted dress raised eyebrows.
This is her explanation:
I sprained my knee some days ago, and then pulled some hamstring muscles while dancing a few days shortly. My knee buckled and popped. I was in a lot of pain and could not put my weight on it. I got a compresser bandage, strong pain relief and crutches.
