Parliament has recognised former speaker Rebecca Kadaga for her services.
Kadaga served the August House for over 10 years.
The outgoing Clerk to parliament, Jane Kibirige, handed Kadaga a plaque this week, saying the appreciation will extend to some other leaders.
Kadaga is now the first deputy prime minister and minister of East African affairs.
In her turn, Kadaga said she is searching for land for the construction of a central bank for the East African Community.
