Uganda has signed a Defence Cooperation Agreement with Czech Republic.
The aim of the agreement is primarily to establish and enhance bilateral Defence Cooperation between the two parties.
On Thursday, Special Forces Command (SFC) Commander Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba received the Deputy Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, Honourable Tomáš Kopečný, at SFC Headquarters in Entebbe.
“I thank him and his delegation for their visit. I also thank the Czech Republic for signing a Defence Cooperation Agreement with Uganda,” he said.
Earlier, the first son and Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, met a delegation of the Russian military experts working with the UPDF and representatives of the Russian defence industry.
“I thank the Russian Federation for their close fraternal relations with Uganda,” he noted.
