Uganda’s long-distance runner, Joshua Cheptegei, has won another gold in Ostrava in the Czech Republic.
The race that saw first and third-place finishes in the 3000 men’s race go to Uganda in the 60th Golden Spike meet race.
He finished the race with 07:33.24 on the clock.
His closest challenger, Paul Chelimo of the US, took silver by clocking 07:41.69 while Oscar Chelimo, another Ugandan, grabbed the bronze medal with 07:43.00 on the clock.
Cheptegei currently holds three world records in 5000m, 5km, and 10,000.
