National Unity Platform campaign team has been sent back to Kitalya prison on remand.
Bobi Wine’s team Monday appeared at the General Court Martial for their bail hearing.
They were yet again been sent back to Kitalya Prison.
“Even those who presented medical records to show that they are very sick and in need of urgent medical attention,” Bobi Wine said.
“The quest for justice and freedom might be long and sometimes frustrating, but in the end, every pain and effort will be worth it,” he added.
Eddie Mutwe grandpa buried
ON Sunday, Bobi Wine joined the family of his comrade Edward Sebuufu, commonly known as Eddie Mutwe, to bid farewell to his grandfather, Mzee Kayiwa Charles.
“I am grateful to the people of Busujju (Mityana district) for turning up in thousands to stand in solidarity with the family, and for the very warm reception,” he said.
“Comrade Eddie Mutwe could not be present as he is in jail, but I thank all the foot soldiers who went there to show that indeed in NUP, we are a family.”
Mutwe’s grandfather, mzee Charles Kayiwa passed on last week.
Mzee Kayiwa was the father of Eddie Mutwe’s mother and was very close to him.
