The army has cordoned off National Unity Platform offices in Kamwokya, a Kampala suburb.
NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine said this happened Tuesday while the leadership of the National Unity Platform addressed a press conference at their offices.
“These military ‘mambas’ came and parked at the gate, causing a disruption of an entirely peaceful event,” he noted.
Meanwhile, Magere, Kamwokya and Busabala are all full of military and police operatives, doing foot patrols while arresting many of NUP supporters for absolutely no reason.
“This all speaks to one thing: those we fear actually fear us the most,” he said.
He added: “They are trying to intimidate us because they are intimidated.”
