H.E. Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi, has arrived in Uganda for the swearing in ceremony of H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Ndiyishimiye was accompanied by First Lady Angeline Ndayishimiye Ndayubaha at the VVIP Lounge at Entebbe Airport where they were received by minister Okello Oryem.
The minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Naledi Pandor, arrived afterwards.
Shortly after, H.E. Malik Agar Eyre, the Vice President of the Republic of Sudan also arrived.
In the evening, President of South Sudan H.E Salva Kiir Mayardit arrived in the country to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
Kiir left Juba for Kampala accompanied by the Minister of Presidential Affairs Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Beatrice Khamisa Wani.
