Parliament Thursday moved a resolution to authorise payment of emoluments and benefits to former Members of the Presidential Commission.
They are; H.E. Saulo Musoke, H.E. Polycarp Nyamuchoncho and H.E. Yoweri Hunter Wacha-Olwo.
The former Members of the Presidential Commission, now all deceased, were the Titular Heads of State of Uganda between May to December 1980.
Hon. Fred Turyamuhweza said Government last made payments to them in November 2017.
As such, parliament adopted the motion authorising the payment of emoluments and benefits to the former Members of the Presidential Commission.

The Presidential Commission of Yoweri Hunter Wacha-Olwol, Justice Saulo Musoke & Justice Polycarp Nyamuchoncho was appointed after President Godfrey Binaisa was toppled by the Military Commission of Paulo Muwanga and H.E. Kaguta Museveni.
