The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon Jacob Oulanyah is chairing the house today after members expressed concern.
“Madam Speaker, for long I have not seen the Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanyah, chairing the House,” queried MP Margaret Baba Diri during Tuesday plenary.
“I want to inquire why and his whereabout. He should be helping you in trying moments like this,” she added.
Speaker Rebecca Kadaga replied: “You will see him.”
Oulanyah himself tweeted confirming he would preside over Wednesday plenary.
“I will be chairing House tomorrow (today) and plenary will start at exactly 2:00pm. Please see below, the Order Paper.”
