President Kaguta Museveni is in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the Expo 2020 Dubai.
“I have arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a 3-day working visit,” the president said Saturday evening on arrival.
He was received by H.E Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al-Nahyan the Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of UAE.
He joined a Ugandan Delegation that arrived here earlier for the World Trade Expo and has already done a tremendous job marketing the country.
Over 192 Countries, Uganda inclusive are participating in this year’s Expo 2020 Dubai.
During his working visit to United Arab Emirates, Museveni is also expected to meet and have bilateral discussions with the leaders of Dubai, Abudhabi and Sharja.
The theme of Expo 2020 Dubai is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” with three (3) sub-themes – “Mobility”, “Opportunity” and “Sustainability.”
Uganda is participating under the “Opportunity” sub-theme.
