National Unity Platform candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has asked police to stop harrassing him.

“Contesting for the presidency is not a crime. Stop harrasing me,” he told a senior police officer on Thursday night.

“The world is watching you and you will dearly pay for it.”

This was after the officer told him that he was not allowed lodging in Nakasongola district.

After campaigning in Kiryandongo, Bobi was first blocked from going back to Hoima for lodging.

He ended up sleeping inside his car at Tyra fuelling station in Migyera town.

On Friday morning, Bobi woke up to clean up on the side of the street.

He is seen washing his face and rinsing his mouth with a bottle of mineral water.

A reverend gave Kyagulanyi accommodation in Migyera, but he rejected it.

He said he would sleep with his team, according to NBS TV journalist Daniel Lutaaya.

“I did not have supper and a shower after a long day. We are heading to Kyankwanzi, and I pray that God gives me the confidence and sanity to deal with this situation,” Bobi said.
