National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine Wednesday made a dramatic entry of Hoima city despite security blockage.

“And let us not grow weary of pressing on, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up,” he said on Thursday morning.

“Even amidst several blockages by the dictator’s militia while on our way to Hoima, we still managed to reach the people of Kabalega land.”

He added: “We were blocked from accessing the campaign venue and we consequently did not address the people but the welcome we received was consoling enough.”

He was supposed to address a rally at Kyentare grounds in Hoima municipality.

Security cut him off and blocked the rally.

Later, military and police trailed him up to Double Dream Guest House in Northern ward and besieged him.

Heavily armed military personnel surrounded the hotel and reportedly assaulted journalists and chased them away.
