Singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool’s son Alpha Thierry Ssali has made his international football debut.
Days ago, he made it to the final cut for Uganda Cranes Hippos Squad (U20) which travelled to Tanzania.
At 16 years, Alpha Thierry Ssali Wednesday made his international debut in the CECAFA zonal qualifiers at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha.
The hippos U20 beat Burundi 6:1.
Alpha Ssali came on for Najib Yiga in the 88th minute.
Uganda’s goals were scored by Ivan Bogere 42′ and 50′ (Penalty), Najib Yiga 44′, Isma Mugulusi 51′ and 80′ and Joseph Kizza Bukenya 87th minutes.
“What begun like a dream or what most called a joke will soon become real,” his father said.
“The pictures below tell the story of a God fearing, hardworking, humble, respectful, focused young man.Congz my son and may Allah grant you all your wishes.”
Zuena Kirema was equally excited for Alpha’s first debut on the National team.
“My baby has come from far, Mukama atenderezebwe always.”
Zuena said Alpha started his soccer journey at the age of 3 years at Proline Soccer Academy and at the age of 16 years, he has made it to the National team ( Uganda Cranes U20).
Alpha is currently the Captain of Proline soccer Academy U17 and has won many awards.
“A special thanks to Mujib Kasule who has mentored and shaped him, (Mujib you’re God sent Alhamdullilah).
This boy is the real definition of hard work and not forgetting prayers.”
Zuena went on: “Allah has done it 💯. We are so proud of you Alpha Ssali ❤ and we believe this is just the beginning.
