The Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) party presidential candidate spent Tuesday combing Kyenjojo and Kyegegwa districts.
On Monday, Gen. Mugisha Muntu spent his day in Kakumiro, Kibale and Kagadi.
There was heavy security presence that often changed his venues and blocked people from accessing the venues.
“Nonetheless, our message was well received.”
“When you look at the deployment of police,LDU and Army in these villages, you may think that Uganda is at war,” Muntu pointed out.
“I don’t blame most of these officers,” added the former army commander.
He said they are implementing wrong orders from those who are scared of losing power.
“We shall create a better environment in which they can do their jobs professionally when we get to power 2021,” Muntu said.
