Cops push car as Amuriat gets stuck in Madi-Okollo
Police officers on Monday helped to push presidential candidate, Patrick Amuriat’s car after it got stuck.
The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) got stuck at one of the roads in Madi Okollo District, where a number of roads are impassable given the current season.
Kizza Besigye’s aide Ronald Muhinda thanked the officers for the good gesture.
“Sadly, they will escort POA to Museveni Police and Army waiting to teargas and shoot at people in Zombo.”
“I am aware deployment in Zombo is a size that awaits to fight a terrorist,” he noted.
“The struggle against a dictatorship is our collective responsibility as citizens of this great nation,” Amuriat said.
The Villager spent Monday in Zombo and Madi-Okollo districts.
He said the struggle against a dictatorship is collective responsibility as citizens of this great nation.
Amuriat paid a courtesy visit to one of the Founding pillars of FDC and former Madi- Okollo County Constituency MP the Hon. John Arumadri (in blue FDC tshirt) at his home.
He condoled with him and family upon the death of his wife 6 months back.
“We prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.”
