The Ministry of Health is celebrating the launch of the Global Cervical Cancer Elimination Strategy.
This was in conjunction with World Health Organisation (WHO) and Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) and CHAI Uganda.
In a visual display of unity and commitment, the Jinja Nile Bridge was lit Sunday night in teal, the colour for cervical cancer.
The Jinja Nile Bridge was also lit lastnight to celebrate the launch of the Global Cervical Cancer Elimination Strategy.
WHO is making a historic launch of the Global Strategy to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health problem.
