We’re still looking for Amuriat shoes- Mafabi
Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Secretary General Nandala Mafabi says party presidential candidate Patrick Amuriat’s shoes are still missing.
On that day of nominations, Patrick Oboi Amuriat was supposed to go to FDC headquarters to pick his papers.
He was picked (wrapped up) and taken without papers and shoes.
“We are still looking for his shoes,” Mafabi said Thursday night while appearing on NBS “Frontline” programme.
He said Byabakama never asked him about it.
“Byabakama’s records are clear. Even Eng. Badru Kiggundu looks better than a man who did law,” Mafabi pointed out.
The FDC Secretary General said many are compelled to vote NRM with the hope of getting NAADS seeds.
According to him, the Electoral Comission (EC) is not independent.
“The country is bleeding because of the behaviors of people like Richard Todwong (NRM deputy Secretary General), who think we all need help, and they are the ones to provide help.”
If Byabakama doesn’t behave, this country will go in flames, Mafabi noted.
“I joined Parliament when our salary was UGX 1.1 million. We had genuine MPs back then. We should go back to those times.”
