NUP MP aspirant perishes in Masaka road accident

National Unity Platform (NUP) parliamentary aspirant Badru Katongole had died.

Katongole had expressed interest in representing Bukoto Central in the Eleventh Parliament under NUP party ticket.

He died after being involved in a car accident along Masaka road.

He was rushing to the burial of Dr. Ana’s Kaliisa, a senior political analyst.

Several other passengers, who were traveling with the deceased in the saloon vehicle, were rushed to Masaka Hospital.

Katongole’s body was taken to Kyazanga Hospital. 

Katongole was a former Chairman of the Buganda Nkobazambogo Bilal Islamic institute inkakiri.
