President Yoweri Museveni has appointed the former director general of the Internal Security Organization (ISO), Col Frank Kaka Bagyenda, as Uganda’s ambassador to Angola.
Th state-run New Vision reported that Kaka is among the three new appointments made whose names have been sent to the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga for vetting.
Before his latest assignment, Kaka had just been replaced as ISO boss by President Museveni with Lt. Col. Charles Oluka.
He had been appointed to head the organisation in January 2017, replacing Brig. Ronnie Balya.
