Muntu turns 62, seeks qualitative change

Gregory Mugisha Muntuyera, commonly referred to as Mugisha Muntu, has turned 62 years old.

Born October 7, 1958 (age 62 years), Muntu is a politician and retired military officer.

He is the current President of the Alliance for National Transformation, a political party he founded in March 2019.

His birthday comes amid a beehive of activity in the ANT camp.

On Tuesday, ANT held a successful meeting with candidates, electoral registrars and coordinators in Kasese district.

Speaking at the event, Muntu called upon all Ugandans who are seeking a qualitative change to join efforts.

“We are attracting good men and women whom we are preparing for the transformation of this country,” he said.

A day before, Muntu and other National leaders of ANT had the honour of officially opening coordination office in Kasese.

“We thank the district teams that are mobilising resources locally to open up offices for purposes of coordinating Party activities in their respective areas.”

Earlier, he met candidates, electoral registrars, and coordinators in Tooro subregion and some parts of Rwenzori.

“We are glad that we have got young men and women who have joined us not because we have money, not because of the number of MPs we have, not because of the perceived strength of the Party but because of the belief in the values we exhibit.”

“This country cannot move any further without a team that is value-driven. ANT we are that team.”
