Curfew stays as Museveni bans kadodi imbalu dance

Imbalu (circumcision) of Bamasaba should follow SOPs, President Museveni said on Sunday.

No processions of dancing kadodi which results into dangerous congregating, he emphasised.

“Our children who are involved in Imbalu have SOPs that were agreed by the Ministry of Health.”

“But I hear they aren’t being followed. There should be no processions. That’s dangerous congregating.”

He said security forces should monitor those cases.”

Mass gatherings are still prohibited.

Lining behind candidates in NRM primaries is not the same as holding a public meeting a rally.

“You can’t observe social distancing.”

Meanwhile, curfew from 9pm to 6am will also remain.
