On Saturday, Police in Mubende deployed heavily at three radio stations to prevent National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine from holding a talkshow.
People Power spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi said police told presenters to cancel all shows.
“…because they somehow imagined that Hon Kyagulanyi was going there.”
Meanwhile, Bobi Wine was busy with several engagements in Kampala and had no intentions of going to Mubende at all.
“These guys will soon fear their own shadows!” Ssenyonyi noted.
He added: “Of-course Hon Kyagulanyi will go there sometime plus other radio stations in different parts of the country, since they said politics is to be done on radio.”
Bobi Wine is one of the presidential contenders aiming for President Museveni’s seat in 2021 general elections.
