United Kingdom based Ugandan singing duo Denis Mugagga and Dan Sewagudde better known as Da Twins showed up at UMA in Lugogo for the Comedy Store show honouring fallen singer Mowzey Radio.
Now called “Ganda Boys” (formerly known as Da Twins) honoured an invite by Comedy Store Uganda founder Alex Muhangi and turned for a fun-filled night.
“We are pleased that they came through. It’s evident they are having an epic time. Definitely an honour,” Muhangi said.
The U.K-based singing duo is known for their songs like Mudomo, Sente, Zim Dollar, Nafunye Omwana, Ndeku Ndeku, Mpola Mpola, Kitundu, among others.
Close in on Zahara
One of the twins singer Daniel Ssewagude was seen getting dangerously close to NBS TV ‘Uncut’ presenter, Zahara Toto.
Rumours even flew in the air claiming the two were in love.
The TV star reportedly had quality time with Dan who was seen touching her romantically.
Ganda Boys musical group started in 2008 through a successful collaboration in the 2009 BBC-TV drama series.
The band known as African fusion includes twins Denis Mugagga and Dan Sewagudde and UK musician, record producer and film composer, Craig Pruess.
Local cast shines
It was a special night was special for music fans as singers and comedians performed to pay tribute to the late Mowzey Radio.
Real names Ssekibogo Moses Nakintije, the Goodlyfe Crew member died on February 1, 2018.
Comedy Store management dedicated their last show in January to him.
Comedians MC Mariachi, Kalela, Senga Nantume, Dr. T-amale, Tata Sam, Mighty Family, Snake and Zoro, Kabaata, among others, thrilled fans with unexpected hilarious skits.
Singers Winnie Nwagi and Weasel Manizo headlined the performers’ list with spirited performances.
Rapper St. Nellysade and Nigeria’s Slim Prince also made the night memorable.
Other performers of the evening included; Jose Chameleone, Pallaso, and Ziza Bafana.
