At State House Entebbe Tuesday, President Museveni presided over the swearing-in of the new Principal Judge, Dr Flavian Zeija, and Supreme Court Justices Mike Chibita, Percy Night Tuhaise and Ezekiel Muhanguzi.
He congratulated the new Justices for elevation to the highest court and salute outgoing Principal Judge Yorokamu Bamwine for a job well done.
“I am glad that God and history have given me an opportunity to participate in rebuilding Uganda’s Judiciary.”
There is a judges conference coming up soon where Museveni plans to share his detailed views on what the institution is doing well and areas that can be improved.
“Otherwise, I once again congratulate the new Justices and wish them success in their new responsibilities.”
