Investment and Privatisation minister Hon Evelyn Anite has started year 2020 in style.
The Koboko Municipality legislator was snapped posing with American singer Ne-Yo, visibly elated by the historic encounter.
Anite who is on holiday with her husband Allan Kajik, shared the picture Thursday January 2, 2020.
Shaffer Chimere Smith, better known by his stage name Ne-Yo, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and dancer.
He gained fame for his songwriting abilities when he penned his 2004 hit “Let Me Love You” for singer Mario.
Ne-Yo too is seen smiling and possibly enjoying the moment for some unknown reason.
To hurt her haters, Anite didn’t even write anything on the image which is catching social media fire.
On Wednesday, she said last year was with some storms and yet together her family registered some success against the corrupt.
“As we start the #2020NewYear let’s all join hands & fight corruption out of #Uganda.”
She added: “If we succeed we’ll have better service delivery in 🇺🇬 & more employment opportunities for our youth.”
This year, her husband who doubles as the administration manager of the Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL) graduated with a Masters of Organisation and Public Sector Management at Kyambogo University.
She also managed to win a David-Goliath war against former Uganda Telecom Administrator Twebaze Bemanya and his godfathers Mwesigwa Rukutana and William Byaruhanga.
