Hon Betty Amongi has announced a temporary closure of the Kampala Capital City Authority [KCCA] Land Registry and Land Administration Offices with effect from 23rd -26th September, 2019.
“The Ministry of Lands, Housing & Urban Development & KCCA now inform clients & the general public that the process of updating the LIS at the KCCA shall run for 2 weeks from 16th-26th September, 2019,” Amongi told press at Uganda Media Centre on Friday.
Thereafter, the KCCA Land Registry; KCCA Survey and Mapping sections; and the KCCA Land Offices shall be closed to the public for the duration of four days beginning on 23rd September up to 26th September 2019.
“Please note that during the 4 days period of closure (23rd to 26th September) there shall be NO transactions received and or registered.”
The KCCA Land Registry will reopen to the public on 27th September, 2019.
