Kezzi Entertainment and Miss Uganda Foundation Thursday afternoon launched the 2019 Miss Uganda Pageant at Sheraton hotel in Kampala.

Speaking at the launch, Brenda Nanyonjo, co-founder, Chief Executive Officer of Miss Uganda Foundation and director Kezzi Entertainment, said the search is on for the next beauty queen.

Nanyonjo noted that last year, the theme was searching for African queen and “our dreams came true when we won miss world Africa title…a first for Uganda”.

“Who knows maybe soon we will bring the title for miss world home,” she mused, adding that scouting and registration has started.

“Effective Monday, girls come pick forms and register.”

Apart from usual requirements, the foundation will be keen on personality and character.

The grand finale is on 27th July at Sheraton hotel.

She said the regional search will be done in two days; covering two regions per day.

“It will be done in two days; North and West Then East And Central.”

She said auditions for regionals will also take place at Sheraton because of time.

“We need to process the visa for Miss Uganda going to Miss World in time according to our partnership with UNAA causes[ a platform for Ugandans living in North America].”

She said the presentations night will be 26th June while boot camp starts on 6th of July.

Kezzi Entertainment CEO Kevin Zziwa said forms can be collected from Miss Uganda offices, Sheraton hotel and Talent Africa.

“They can also be found on our social media platforms. The forms are free,” he explained.

He added: “If you have what it takes, come out and apply.”
