The Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, is back home after receiving treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.
Sam Obbo, her principal press secretary, said Kadaga came back on Saturday and is now resting at her Muyenga home.
He promised to issue a statement on her condition at the right time.
Kadaga was first admitted at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala on March 21 with “jetlag and fatigue” related illnesses.
She has since been admitted for close to four weeks and needs time to recover.
Kadaga is currently recuperating after which she will resume her Parliament duties.
On April 7, on her Twitter handle, Kadaga said she was looking forward to resuming her official duties after being discharged.
Well-wishers and supporters gathered to pray for her at her ancestral home in Mbulamuti Village, Mbulamuti Sub-county in Kamuli District.
