Airtel Uganda, one of the largest telecoms in the country, will Thursday hold a live session with BET Award winner, Eddy Kenzo, at 3pm dubbed: #AskKenzo.
Airtel said customers stand a chance to win tickets to the “10 Years of Eddy Kenzo concert” on Friday 4th January 2019 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
Tickets go for Shs100,000 ordinary and Shs300,000 for VIP. A table will go for Shs2m. On Sunday, he will perform at Freedom City.
Gagamel singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool is among those who are actively calling upon music lovers to show up in big numbers to support Kenzo.
“Let’s go support Eddy KENZO this Friday at Serena hotel,” Bebe Cool said on social media Tuesday.

On the same day, Bebe released his list of 2018 hit songs putting Kenzo at No. 15 with songs like “Pull up” and “The heat”.
On Thursday night, Bebe will appear on NBS television political programme dubbed “Frontline” at 10pm to discuss music, politics and events that are likely to shape 2019.
“Let’s chat abit tomorrow #NBSFrontline, Music and politics,” he said on Wednesday.
He will be facing off with Kiira Municipality MP Hon Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, FDC vice president eastern Salaamu Musumba, DP President Norbert Mao and Government Spokesperson, Ofwono Opondo.
Airtel Uganda started popularising Kenzo [its brand ambassador] last year ahead of “10 years of Eddy Kenzo Concert”, a celebration of Kenzo’s 10 Years of stardom and his continued contribution to the Ugandan Music Industry.
This milestone will be celebrated in a VIP concert, according to Noela Byuma, Airtel Brand Strategy Manager.
Edrisa Musuuza, known professionally by his stage name Eddy Kenzo, is a Ugandan artist best known for his 2014 song “Sitya Loss”.
Kenzo was born in Masaka, a town in the central region of Uganda. He lost his mother at age 5, after which he lived a street life for 13 years.
After high school, he adopted the stage name Eddy Kenzo and began writing music.
In 2008, he was featured in the popular song Yanimba by Mikie Wine.
His breakthrough 2010 song, Stamina, was met with critical acclaim and was used as a theme song for Yoweri Museveni’s presidential campaign.
He released the album Ogenda Kunzisa in 2012.
One year later, he released Kamunguluze and toured the United States.
The song Sitya Loss became his most popular song to date, and a video of the Ugandan children Triplets Ghetto Kids dancing to the song went viral. Its success led to the launching of a petition to have the dancing children appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Kenzo released the album Sitya Loss in May 2014.
Eddy Kenzo has one daughter, Maya Musuuza Mirembe born 2011, from a previous relationship with Tracy Nabatanzi.
Kenzo retained custody of his daughter after the split.
In 2014, Kenzo had another daughter Aamaal Musuuza through a relation with Rema Namakula his current girlfriend.
He became the first Ugandan to win the Black Entertainment TV [BET] award.
