Rubaga South MP Kato Lubwama went out of his way and fought on live television after allegedly being put on the spot for not supporting fellow Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
It all started when Andrew Mukasa, an events promoter, accused Lubwama of making no contribution in Parliament because he cannot speak English.
Mukasa, Lubwama and another events promoter Abbey Musinguzi Aka Abitex were being host on Spark TV by Miles Rwamiti on “Koona” show.
Mukasa claimed he was in the house on Thursday where Lubwama failed to speak in defence of Bobi Wine because he doesn’t know English.
The house was grilling Internal Affairs minister Gen Jeje Odongo on why security forces are blocking Bobi Wine’s music concerts.
When Lubwama protested, Mukasa dared him to address Spark TV viewers in English.
Lubwama instead lost his temper and slapped Mukasa. Rwamiti and Abitex separated the two who had were about to wrestle each other down.
A furious Lubwama walked out of the studio still quarrelling.
