Earlier government spokesperson, Ofwono Opondo, said Bobi Wine and MP Francis Zaake could not be allowed to leave without proper authorisation documents.

Police spokesperson, Emilian Kayima, said in a statement that the Director of Public Prosecutions [DPP] had instructed police to investigate the alleged torture of Bobi Wine.
He said the investigation required medical documents from after a thorough examination.
Bobi, however, tried to leave before the medical examination could be done, the reason police arrested him at Entebbe airport and took him to Mulago hospital [Kiruddu complex].
Kayima said the examination has now been done and Bobi allowed to leave the medical facility.
