Security forces have besieged the homes of opposition figure Kizza-Besigye, FDC mobilisation secretary Ingrid Turinawe and Makindye East Member of Parliament Allan Ssewanyana.
”Every way out of my home is barricaded since very early today,” Besigye tweeted on Thursday morning.
He added: “The intention is to deny us freedom to move & to be at the Military Court where @HEBobiwine is to be produced this morning.”
He, however, said the struggle for freedom and sovereignty won’t be blocked.
“Museveni Must Go,” added Besigye who has stood against the President several times.
On Wednesday, Besigye joined prayers at Lubaga Cathedral for those detained and tortured by the regime during Arua by-election.
Bobi Wine appears in Gulu military court today.
“Let’s be there!” he urged.

He also condemned the torture and arrest of veteran journalist James Akena.
“Many have been permanently maimed; some killed; all on account reporting Human Rights abuses of the Junta. Time to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!”
In his Eid Al Adha message, Besigye called upon Ugandans to be mindful that Uganda is in deep crisis.
“On top of Mr Museveni being illegitimate, he has lost it! Let’s pray and work for release of all out colleagues that are detained and tortured. Transition from NRM/M7 Junta is most urgent! EID MUBARAK!”
Meanwhile, officers from military police, regular police and Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) have taken over Kampala ahead of Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, appearance in General Court Martial.
