Congo movement tells Museveni to step aside for Bobi Wine
KAMPALA (@UG_EDGE) – A Congolese movement dubbed “Pouvoir au Peuple” [power to the people] has joined a campaign demanding the release of Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
“Bobi Wine must be released. He is only defending Ugandan people,” the leader of the movement Bissa Kembetia said.
He added: “He [Bobi Wine] is one of us who understand that people must take their power back.”
Kembetia said he was writing to President Museveni asking him to let the new generation take over Africa and change the fate of Africa.
“The president should know that he will not stop this by arresting or killing people like Bobi Wine. We must give power back to the people.”
He said Museveni’s abuse of people is too much and must now stop.
“We are doing our best to raise Bobi Wine’s voice in Europe and America. Bobi Wine must be released.”
