Katatumba sons hire Blacklines aviation to run express airways

Allan Katatumba and Rugiirwa Katatumba, sons of the late businessman, Bonny Katatumba, have unveiled Blacklines Aviation as the new General Sales Agents (GSA) of African Express Airways in Uganda.

Allan and Rugiirwa are the directors of African Express Airways established in 1986.

“Myself and my Brother, Rugiirwa Katatumba are pleased to inform the General Public that African Express Airways is offering the lowest revolutionary rates of daily flights,” Allan said.

He said the flights are from Entebbe airport in Uganda to Nairobi in Kenya and then Mogadishu in Somalia.

The directors describe the airways as the second fully Kenyan designated airline to multiple destination around the world.

Based at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, African Express Airways is the largest privately owned airline in East Africa.

It is a stable and steadily growing airline, which targets business and leisure travellers.

The airline has been updating its fleet with Boeing’s modern environmentally friendly regional jets that operate a daily departure from Nairobi.

According to Allan, their vision is to be a world class airline, doing professional passenger and cargo services. “To be an airline of choice to its customers, employer of choice to its employees and investment of choice to its owners.”

The mission is to do the best in offering safe, reliable and quality services and “more importantly treat our customers as our employers”.
