Juliana Kanyomozi, award winning Ugandan pop musician, actress, and entertainer, has reached out to city socialite, Zarinah Tlale Hassan, who Thursday lost the father of her three children.
Rich Gang big spender, Ivan Ssemwanga, died at Steve Biko hospital in the administrative capital of South Africa, Pretoria where he has been on life support for weeks.
The Ugandan born-South African based sangoma [medicine man] was recently admitted after suffering a heart attack.
While announcing his death, Zari said she remembers Ivan telling her “”life is too short Zee let me live it to the fullest”, this very dark hour it makes sense why you always said those words to me.”
Juliana was among the first people to grieve with Zari.
“As much as we hoped and prayed for a full recovery, God also had his plans,” Juliana said.
She added: “May he strengthen your family through this very trying moment. My condolences to you Zari and your children. RIP Ivan Semwanga.”
Zari, has been nursing her despite the fact that she is now with a Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz.
“God loves those that are special and that’s exactly who you were & I guess that’s why he wanted you to himself. You have touched and helped thousands,” she said in her tribute to him.
“To your sons, you were a hero-some kind of superman. Anyone who has ever been in your presence knows what a charming person you were,” she added.
Wema Sepetu, a Tanzanian beauty contestant who won the Miss Tanzania contest in 2006 Miss Tanzania, also extended her condolences to Zari even though the Ugandan snatched her man, Platnumz.
Wema who represented Tanzania in Miss World 2006, which was held in Poland is also an actress.
“Broken hearted… Rest in Peace Ivan…SHOCKING NEWS kwakweli… My Condolences to The whole Family… Mungu awatie nguvu wale watoto jamani…They are too young… And Mungu amtie nguvu Mama watoto wako… It will be a very hard period,” Wema said in a social media message.
